I talked to Starcraft rep. today 1-22-08. I asked how they could determine from email photos that electrolysis did the paint damage. He said paint is not covered in the warranty.
I asked about paint not being prepared right. He said that there will be other issues and there isn't any warranty. I said is it that "cut and dry" & am I stuck with it. He said Yes sir. I then said thank you and hung up. I guess that I will have to pray for the next sucker that gets this boat as I'm ready to sell it. I have another post in GLANGLER FORUMS about
Starcraft leaky glove box. Some of you may be interested & check how others are being treated by Starcraft & their supposed warranty. Thx to all for their input as I'm off to find another boat.
You sure it wasn't caused by a pressure washer? You previously stated that you had the boat washed by the marina. Did you observe how they did that? It may be a combination of both.
