So after looking at the motor, I saw that the starter has no wires hooked up to it. I have looked for wiring Diagrams for My specfic motor but the closest that I could find is a 1969 115 Johnson. This is a 1970 115hp Johnson model # is 115esl70d I am not sure what the "D" stands for but when you look it up on the document that is posted in the sticky it does not show a "d" on the end of the model #.

So to double check I need to attach the bottom post of the starter solenoid to the post the sticks out of the starter, and is there a certain gauge that I need to use? Also where do I Attach the ground wire on the starter. Bottom or top or it doesn't matter?

Next I see that there is something that was attached to the starter solenoid post but was cut is there anything that I should be looking for or should something be coming off of that? See second Pic

Also I need to run a Power Wire from the Battery to the Top post of the Starter solenoid? Right. Also does this wire need to be Fused?

You eed to have a heavy gauge cable from the bottom post of solenoid to the post on the starter to complete the circuit.

Follow the picture on the starter by the solenoid. It gives the diagram you are looking for. Your last pic in the post.
