Steering

I have a Teleflex Rotary steering system on my boat . Is there some way to tighten this system up a little the motor turns to freely. Or do i need to tighten up the motor?

Eaz...you should find a tensioner at the helm

That's what i thought to my old boat had one under the steering wheel but this one don't.

And some of the outboads have a friction adjustment on the motor its self

And some steering systems and outboards have no friction controls at all.

How do you tighten up at the motor? Just curious.
