Hello All,
Might get it in the water yet this year! that's the goal. Just wanted to post a few pics and ask if i'm on the right track. The shots of the keel are of what i hope is completion! Keel laid into Pl premium adhesive, 1/8 gap at min, then a 2inch strip csm in the corner, then a 4 inch, then 8 inch, then a full width from side to side with 1708 stiched cloth. Is that enough? Hoping so. As for the other pics, that's my rebuilt transom from the inside. 2 slices 3/4 inch ply as was there before. Should i add 1 more 3/4 ply? 115 hrse yamaha is doing the pushing. However i really have to "nail" down the gussets. How thick? Do i use 3/4 ply doubled up as well? How do i attach them to the transom(should i screw them to the transom first) should i also tab them in to the rear deck? How many layers of 1708 should i use to ensure the strength and stability so there is no more flexing at the transom? Do i transition to the floor the same way i did the keel? Thanks for any input,
Landrover
