I splashed my '71 Super Sport about 3 years ago so I guess it's "completed". Not really though as I have other modifications in mind. I would like some ideas from the starmada. The upper bow/gunnel support for the boat was a bugger to get out to replace the rotten face board with the faux wood sticker. I did not properly put a new/different support in place and the top sags and bounces. It is a little thing but one I would like to finish up. It would be great to know how others put a support in place without contortionist like body positions. I have some sheet aluminum and could cut and bend and put aluminum braces up there but I'm always open to ideas.
One other thought... boat storage in the transom and back gunnel area. It would be great to see or be directed to other rebuilds that have tackled this project. I have seen many nifty bow transformations but my wife would like to continue to have seating in the front of the boat rather than a casting deck.
Thanks for any direction you people can give.
