In forward/reverse when increasing throttle stalls. In neutral works fine. Cleaned carb and inspected fuel pump appears normal.

Re: Suzuki DT4 1989

Hi Mike,

I had the same issue with my DT25...I cleaned the carb once again using carb cleaner and compressed air. Also took the plugs out and my gap was set to low...yours should be set at .028. That got rid of my engine stalling...I am having some other issues with not getting full power but those are some things for you to check

Cheers

Reset the plug gap and in the test tank it is now serviceable.
Check it out on the tender this weekend and let you know the final result.

Thanks.

Failed in test tank after about 3 minutes. Noticed with prop off in forward /reverse runs ok, just cannot take the torque of the prop. back to the drawing board.

soak carb in carb cleaner overnight, blow out with compressed air, jets everything ... set air/fuel mix to 1 & 1/2 turns outwards from soft stop .... make sure you have enough ventilation at the tank ...

Still stalling after ten minutes operation. Noticed that p hole sometimes stops working. I have replaced the impellor. Replaced carburettor. Any other ideas?
