i have nothing but problems with my quadrajet ,i can not get consistancy out of my qjet had qjet for a year ,then had to have it rebuilt ,then bought another one ,remanufactured ,got it from I5 ,and that one never ran right from the get go ,so when i took out of winter storage ,the carb was leaking like a siv ,so i rebuilt got it back up and runnig ok ,but constantly playing with idle then air fuel mix ,then choke not opening correctly ,so after a little research ,edelbrock has kit number 2697 ,to swap and have all parts ,i believe , except throttle cable stud, so why not try something different, its like a girlfield if she keeps pissing ,you don't keep going back and try and fix ,you get rid of the girl,so what i need to know is if a edelbrock 600cfm is a good match for my motor or is the edelbrock 750 better, also i have not seen any one say that swapping to the edelbrock was bad or the worst thing they did
