Teleflex No Feedback Steering?

Hey guys I have a question about my steering system. The other day I caught the deck of my lawn tractor on the skeg of my outboard and turned it some. I was just wondering if I could have done some damage to the system. The outboard was positioned with the steering bar all the way in and after it was exposed 5 inches. The only reason I question it is that if I push on the outboard it doesn't move so it takes alot of force to push it. The steering steering still works and is smooth. I just put about 30 miles on the boat today and all seems well but it makes me nervousto think that there is hidden damage.

I turn mine at the engine all the time, I don't think you have anything to worry about, I really think you woudl have broken the skeg before hurting the steering system, it is pretty beefy.

No worries.

The black trim piece where the steering wheel connects to the console says teleflex no feedback on it so I think so, but I am not the origional owner.

I'd think the stresses on it when turn hard are way more then you could have done hitting it.
