I know I should drop it in water but any harm heating the end of the thermostat with butane torch to see if the tip moves?
Any idea what these tiny little seals around the small water ports are? Nothing is listed for that in the parts diagram. You will likely have to pull the Powerhead off the Exhaust Housing as that is likely where any pieces of the Impeller have gummed things up.
O-rings should be considered expendable. However some have reused them, claiming they worked fine, but YMMV...
I don't see them listed on parts diagram. Shop manual says rtv around 3 water ports. I'm assuming the 3 my fingers and thumb are pointing to? But what about all those tiny holes? Nothing seals them?Something about those little O rings. The ring can either get harder with age. And stay in place and shape.
Or get softer and move around when pressure & water speed are reapplied. Pure gamble what can happen.
