Re: testing trim sender
The sender is a potentiometer (variable resistor).<br />Disconnect the wires from it (as I recall those senders have two wires vs. being grounded to the drive via its' mounting) and using a ohmmeter, measure the resistance as you manually actuate the sendor. The resistance should change in a uniform manner. If it doesn't, the sender is bad, if it does, your wiring could be bad or the meter may be bad. The meter can be tested by putting a variable voltage across it.
