the Yankees have no pitching. It has been that way all year. When you get to the alcs you need to have the arms in working order and on top of their game. If the rangers can close this thing out then they should be able to win the WS. But I have to say it GO YANKEES!!!!!! cause i hate everything about texas

I am pleased, of course, but I am not counting the ALCS until it is hatched.

The Yankees are. . .well, the Yankees. They will not be beaten until the 27th out of the last game.

I agree that the Rangers can beat anybody, but that doesn't mean they will on any given day. If CJ Wilson is in the zone tonight I will be thrilled.

It definitely looks like no Yankees which is fine by me. You know they were in trouble when they are starting a 10-15 pitcher with an over 5.00 ERA.

Should have been even worse last night after the umps blown call with fan interference on the home run by Cano.

Another disappearing act for A-Roid...I love it!

I predict the Yankees are NOT going to the world series.

The Rangers are a team of destiny.

Think about it, all loyalties aside, if your a real baseball fan wouldn't the Giants and Rangers be much more fun to watch?

The 2010 Rangers are a phenomenon created by Nolan Ryan. They were bankrupt and had won one playoff game in their entire history. He and Washington have made them the team to beat.

The Yankees have won more World Championships than the Rangers have had winning seasons; almost as many as the Rangers have had seasons.

I think the Rangers will win the pennant and then the World Series, but I respect the huge obstacles they have to overcome to do that.

BTW, I was 17 before I knew that damn and yankee were two seperate words.

deck swabber- yes i know the yankees will not win the series. the rangers have outstanding pitching, and the next game will be the last for the season for the yanks. I would enjoy watching the rangers v the phillies. I am a rockies fan and really dont want to see the giants in the world series ever.

It's funny and yes I am a died in the wool Yankee fan and a Giants (football) fan to boot but I do have to admit it really is like watching the 69 Mets all over again. When you think of it we all hate ho hum sports hell why do you think most of the country can't stand Cowboys football TOO predictable!
I will say if the Yankees can't pull it out I will be pulling hard for the Rangers. As I and my parents before me still haven't quite forgiven the Giants for leaving New York.

I'm not a Giants fan either. Still can't forget the whipping Will Clark and the Giants gave the Cubs in the '89 NL playoffs.
But I like to see different teams and we've seen enough of the Phillies for a while. The Giants haven't been in a world series for a while and they do have an interesting "cast of characters"!
