I thought this belonged in stupid human tricks, and technically I did go fishing at one point, so it definately belongs here.
Most of you know my wife, son and I recently got back from a vacation in Orlando, FL. Well when we got back, I was surprised to find that my keychain with my electronic security ID which I NEED for my job was not on the coffee table where I thought I had left it, since I didn't remember seeing it durring the trip, but we didn't unpack everything in the hotel, so I figured it was either packed away good, or had maybe fallen under one of the car seats. Three days later I was freaking out because the keys had not shown up after unpacking all our luggage and having throughly searched the car and house. Well by this time my wife had already gone back to work, and she came home and said that the car was acting a little funny (engine getting warmer than normal). So I pop the hood to add more coolant because the coolant was low, and guess what's sitting there right on top of the grill? The keys I had been searching for. They had sat there where I must have left them when I topped off the washer resivoir before we left. 1400+ miles, nothing at all holding them in place, one wrong bump in the road and they would have never been seen again... yet there they were. The best part is, despite the engine heat, and the rain we drove through, both the electronic security ID and even the thumb drive that was also on the keychain are both in perfect condition. Talk about lucky, that was one incredible trip they took.
