There is an extreme right-wing element of the republican party (egged on by entertainers who benefit economically), who continually paint all democrats with the extreme left-wing brush. They invent terms like "cut and run". They aren't doing the rest of us republicans any favors. Now they (the right wing nut jobs) seem to have convinced Al Qaeda that they (AQ) have scored a significant victory in American politics.

Not all democrats are Rosie O'Donnell or Brad Pitt or Barney Frank. Look around you...I bet your city, your neighborhood, your church are full of democrats; some of your best friends might be democrats. Family even. Alls I'm saying is, they are not evil. They are not the devil. They are not the enemy. If they seem misguided, it's up to you to show them the light.

And if you think it's only just democrats that are talkin "redeployment", you're just fooling yourself.

The reason why extremists of any political color love these chatrooms,is the fact that nobody can shut you up.Thus giving you a forum to endlessly blabber onto.The chatroom is the mouth piece for the remnants of long dead movements like the John Birch association and the deep crimson new marxist movement.Both movements are on the dung pile of history,but in the chat rooms ,they are alive and well.

I'd have thought that Somebody at Fox would have picked up on it,......

What are you saying, that the Democratic party endorses this statement or gives it any credibility? Bullschmidt! The only ones even the slightest bit interested in it are those righties willing to make Hay over any ridiculous claim that they think gives their own extreme point of view any credibility whatsoever. Had the shoe fallen on the other side of the bed, aQ most certainly would've replaced the word Democrat with Republican. Propagada is propaganda is propaganda.

Seems to be a lot of credit being give to the words of [Ayman al-Zawahiri] when it serves a propaganda purpose, I wonder why his last message is being ignored?

Actually we were. That's why your guys lost control of both houses.

And if you were such a well informed democrat you'd know that the lefties that lost were far left and the righties that didn't get reelected were shifting left. So basically, the country actually became MORE conservative with the last election.

Too many righties were becoming tax and spend lefties, and too many lefties were being harder on Bush than on Bin Laden, so those didn't get reelected.

We basically lost because too many on our side were showing signs of socialism, so they were chopped down like a tree.

I totally agree, our conservative base went nuts. They needed to go.
