Finally the stock market is back to pre Bush levels, even though he managed in six short years to turn a 1.6 trillion surplus into a six trillion dollar deficit. I guess we are supposed to celebrate that the deficit isn't 8 trillion . LOL!

Oh, and it doesn't matter what how much we spend, and what we spend it on. Cheney has taught us that deficits don't matter!

I had an ex-wife that thought the same thing. Unfortunately, she could never get the banks to agree with her.

And I do get a kick out of the Repub's They are going to launch some sort of multi-billion jobs program in Iraq to go along with an increase in troops.

A gov't sponsored jobs program. Now if that ain't a classic liberal boondoggle, I don't know what is.

If Iraq wasn't costing you and me hundreds of billions of dollars, with 25,000 Americans killed and wounded, it would be downright comical.

First of all OJ, this thread originated on blind hate. Dems are being blamed for things that have not even happened. Hating on speculation is "blind hate." Did you read the original post? That is blind hate.

As far as W and the rest of his supporters, my eyes have been wide open these past 6 years. Disliking W for his actions, or lack there of, is certainly not blind. The only thing blinding is the stupidity of this admin.

What a read, and moreover what these posts say about the authors. Libs and Democrats deny progress and see nothing but victims, (in need of an income transfusion from the productive ones of our economy), and failure; (or the dark clouds Chicken Little always worries about, or more importantly: wants you to worry about so he and the other Democrats can raise your taxes and increace dependancy on momma government). The Conservatives see accomplishment and progress. Same world, same set of facts, different eyes, and most importantly: VERY different objectives. Self reliance and individual responsibility always leads to a significant decrease in sniveling and whining! Hope the Democrats' reign is short lived. Respectfully JR

OK, here some changes I would like to see.

Here is $100.00, in 2000; Here is what it will take in 2006, to buy what you could buy in 2000; $117.00.

For a change I would like to se buying power keeping up with inflation.

The Census Bureau reported that median incomes for working-age families were down again, for the fifth straight year. Real median income for households under age 65 is down by 5.4 percent since 2000, even though the economy has grown every year. All of that gain has gone to upper-bracket people and corporate profits.

Anybody see a problem with these statistics? Notice the highlighted area, myomy pure coincidence isn’t it?
