Time goes by differently on a boat than on land. We like to dedicate a good portion of boating time to food!
We cook all the usual stuff...Chicken, Steak, Eggs, cut up a watermelon etc. But one of our favorite things is to make the perfect caf? au lait.
Grind some high dollar coffee, pour it in a french press, add a splash of tepid bottled water, give it a stir.
Next, bring quality bottled water to a powerful boil, pour into a measuring cup to the exact amount of water needed, let it cool down to 203? then pour into the french press.
give it a stir, let it sit for 120 seconds, plunge it, pour into a Thermos.
During the 2 minutes, pour some organic whole milk into a small pot and whisk over heat till it is hot and frothy,
Pour the coffee into a mug, spoon out some milk, give it a stir and contemplate how great life can be!
