Thanks for all the leads guys, I'm still following up on the one in Texas. If it doesn't go anywhere I will follow up on these...right now I'm packing for 5 days at the lake!

I'm packed and Miss Morgan is behind the truck. First thing in the morning we are heading out to the lake to hide for a few days! Last Mohican called the seller and got a little different story. Sounds like the seller thinks I expect him to deliver the hull up here. Anyhow Last Mohican has a freind who is close by and is going to take a look at it this weekend. Hopefully it might turn out to be a good deal. You never can tell. I should have an update when I get back from the lake. I hope everyone has a good weekend on the lake!

Kahuna123, I have gone the paint route before, but like the idea of gel....I may go with paint but I want to explore that avenue. Woodonglass came up with this one, nice looking hull.....hell of a drive for me.

Anyone in the area up there?

I'm kinda surprised Steve has not got back to you yet. I'm sure it is because they are having trouble getting together on it. Seems like Harold is a pretty busy guy and I'm sure that $300 boat is not a priority to him. That one up in WI looks like a good deal but that is a long way away.

Yeah I'm trying to figure out how to disguise it as a carry on :D! I'm guessing Southwest won't buy that story! Looks like to me its about $600 in gas just to go get her.....I need one to show up around here!

That is a hell of a lot of boat! I really don't want to spend quite that much on one, I need more of a fixer upper, that I can slowly put some money into. Thanks for the link!

You don't want that anyway, can you imagine the trouble you have to go through just to change the plugs on those motors? Yikes!

good point, I was wondering just how they managed to stuff both of those in there! I would need to start my own drilling company to feed those two!

LOL another one with no trailer. What is it with these hulls.

Bobby, Thanks for the ride in Miss Morgan today. That was fun for sure. It's not a great pic but here is the Executive that showed after you left. It was super nice.

Ok so I am a total idiot.....I accidentally clicked on Matt's sleekcraft thread and made this post.....how in the hell did I do that! Too much coffee......anyhow here is the post. Sorry Matt!

Ok you guys are going to laugh! I'm still looking for a sleek that is fairly close by for a long term restore project....but look what followed me home today!

It even came with Max's little brother on back.

My guess is that a new floor will be required, lol!

I'll be starting a new thread on it, I may pull it in the shop this afternoon and start the demo. I wish I still had my engine stand now, but I took it apart when I was done with Max. Guess I will build another one. I was wondering if the engine was going to make it back to the house.....the plywood transom is in about the same shape as the floor.

Getting old sucks. You know what they say, The mind is the first thing to go.... Or is that vision... What was I talking about... LOL.

The pontoon should be fun. We had a 30' Party hut for a while. It was lot of fun and could haul a ton of people.
