Well I appreciate all the help. Everything is done just need to find someone to help me put the gear case bak on

ok well i am happy to say the gearcase is up and running as it should. it took 5 min with another person to mate it up with the drive but everything went smoothly. the engine idles at exactly 160 now, before it would idle at about 165. i took the bottom plug out after 5 min on the muffs, to see if any water is leaking through the the water pump housing and its all good so far. we will see after a day on the water. thanks all for all the help and advice couldnt have done it without you.

The gear oil plug that you empty oil from at the bottom. I let some oil out to see if water mixed with the oil. So far so good.
