A lot has changed since we came along, Jason.

There is a lot of divisiveness in this country that wasn't here then and a lot of folks are carrying with the hammer back.

If we all can remember that the other guy is someone with whom we would be chums if we met on the lake or down at the crick. . . .well, I think we would disagree in a more civil manner.

I know that one of my best friends here, a real prince of a fellow, disagrees strongly with me on a number of issues. . .yet we remain good friends. Why? Because we disagree on ideas, not on who we are.

However when someone has Carte Blanche with what you post innuendo is stronger than truth. What happend to my response to crunch? I thought long and hard when I posted it and was careful to be honest and forthright.(sp?) And ain't gonna look it up.

some on here are masters of innuendo. They assign meaning and motives to your words. Then, when you rebutt their false allegations, they simply refuse to respond.

Techno, I have only been on this site for a short time, I would rather you did not hound me after this incounter as I have seen you do towards others, especially since I inadvertantly touched a nerve with you, (sorry again: Techno I really did not mean to), and you apparently have some strong negative feelings about me. I have found your posts very sharp, (by that I mean: showing lot's of intelegence and humor), and many times very funny. I have not been on the recieving end, but doubt I'd whine about it, if I was because: my nature is to fight not snivel and whine. Respectfully, (and I mean it), JR

But as long as I am allowed on this site, I will post to help other boaters as well as my opinon. Not an attack, just my point of view (my God ,I sound PC :'( someone slap me) But it's to bad it has come to this.:'devil:

Hope so Kalikid, ('course we can't bash people: jus' ideas n' all). If we can encourage a li'l critical, n' positive thinkin' Lib ideas are in real trouble. He said I could call him Ray, n' Lord knows he is very good at talkin' in riddles n' postin real spectacular 'puter stuff.
