Been waiting for the season to calm down so that I can repair my tilt/trim pump.<br /><br />Have follwed all the advice (unit slowly leaks down - much like everyone elses).<br />I have an 1989 85 Hp and ordered the correct carb grommets (820719) to fit and reseal the pump valve bits.<br /><br />So $80 later ($63 postage!!, UPS) I'm ready to go but I can't dislodge the two Allen keyed plugs, they are seemingly self welded in.<br /><br />(If the worst comes to the worst and I have to drill them out how far can I safely drill and whats behind them.<br />The cut-away in the Cylmer manual makes them look like they are screw in lid tops-ish and not too technical.)<br /><br />Any advice?
