Yeah, if you are in an area that just has to play with the clocks a couple times a year, it's here again.

Sure wish they would just leave it alone.

Of course I have to admit that being retired it doesn't mean near as much any more.

I am retired and I really don't understand why anybody worries about it, we all know it is going to happen, unless you live in a couple of states! When I was stationed in Hawaii, we knew what to do after dark, so we never changed our clocks!

How else are you going to remember to change the batteries in your smoke detectors?

I'v showed up to work an hr early before because of it. Now I set my cell phone as an alarm also, because it's always got the right time.

this time change always seems easier to adapt to than the one in the spring......but it still messes up the ol biological clock. i just hate what happens a month from now......go to work in the dark....come home in the dark! :(

Have a friend in Golden Valley, Az.. Says it makes life interesting when he goes to Laughlin. Another friend lives in Kanab, Ut. and works for ADOT, More amusement. Personally, I think Az. has it right.

And then there is my wife. She went to bed about 15 minutes ago as she works Sunday and gets up at 3:15. 5 minutes later she came back out and said is 7:05 or 6:05?

Told her it's 7. She said when will it be 6? I said at 7 in the morning.

She figured it out, love her.

It's worse living in NV and covering AZ and UT... It's only a 2 hour drive, but I have to be on the road at 5am to be there at 8am. Then AZ is on the same time as NV 1/2 the year while UT is 1 hour ahead all the time. I even have places that are in AZ that don't follow AZ time, they follow UT time. It's a pain figuring out who's on what time and I always have to ask to make sure.

Changing clocks is not a good thing.
The extra hour of sunlight fades the curtains.

Do you know who invented daylight saving time? Benjamin Franklin. Do you know why? To conserve candles.

So unless you illuminate your house or busines with candles, hurricane victims aside, I think it's high time we did away with daylight saving time?

Is it OK if we turn the clocks back 2 hours to get a bit more sleep? :)
