Re: Timid but determined Glasstream restoration
Hello Folks,
Well just got done with some more sanding and what a PITA all this sanding is.
What was I thinking.
The good news is that most of the bottom is done. Well, I still have the strikes, The other half of the bow area and some touch up on the rest of the bottom, Next I will fill in pin holes and sand that smooth again.
That doesn't sound like I almost done. Then I have to do the sides and the back.

Arch,
I will keep plugging along until I get her done.
redfury,
All the curves are a pain. I don't care if they are inverted or not. The only thing I have found to soften it is 60-80 sand paper.
I did find out something else too. All sandpapers are not equal. I had 80 grit by two different company's and I'm here to tell you they are not the same. The off brand I had didn't cut worth a darn from the start. I'm sticking with 3M for the rest of this project.
Take care everybody.
Bob
