Re: Tire question
One study I read on the whole Bridgstone Ford explorer thing all but proved that it was neither tires or Ford. It was because that was the start of the SUV craze. People expecially city dwellers had no clue how to drive an SUV. They drove and turned corners like they did their sports cars that were just going out of fashion.
Tests I saw on one video showed the tires up close on high speed turns. They held together. The test on video then devised a mechanical way to let out air pressure as the test continued. They took higher speed turns with tires at all levels of inflation with no rollover.

Anyway to the point...excelent tires. Firestone in my oipinion had a bad problem a few years ago, in my experience with weather cracking. But these have been great tires. Good ride, quiet running, wear good.
