as im a glutton for punishment ive found myself in another project, putting the 4.3 engine from my old boat into my new boat (both are from 1997, old boat had an engine put in around 2006 with tks), and using the new boats computer/ wiring, old boat was tks and new boat has regular electric choke. the carb on the new boat is a paper weight, is using the tks carb as simple as just splicing the wires for the old electric choke onto it or is there some computer controlling for it that i will be missing??
edit: reason for using the new boats harness/ controller is because the ecu for my old boat is bad, but if getting the tks carb to work on this other boat is only playing with the wiring and doesnt involve the use of the old ecu than i can handle that with no issues.
