Yes I know i will have to replace the foam and will anyway, and I am going to replace all the stringers. what kind of foam do you use is it a specific kind and do I have to get it from the boat shop!!

I used the 2 part polyurethane flotation foam sold by US Composites. It's USCG approved flotation foam. If you do choose to replace the foam, that's the stuff to use instead of the stuff in the spray cans.

no rot up to this point or should I say all good wood at this point and the foam is dry and still looks good so far. I am going to replace the one stringer that should go in the middle

If you've caught it before it got bad you're doing better than most. I'm not sure what the point(s) of failure are in that model. If you can find and eliminate them you'll be in a lot better shape than many Capri owners that come to this forum.

I think the thing with this poor boat is the person before did not care about it and let it set in the Arizona weather with the bow down and no cover
