If you can wait for it Champion Trailers makes custom axles to your exact spec. Takes about 4 weeks the last time I had one done. The latest I had done is a 2x3 drop saddle center section with 6,000 capacity. This gave my trailer a big safety margin combined with 12” brakes and 225/75-15
Load Range E tires.

haha. Right!? I know. It was a while, obviously. I'll never neglect that chore again.

New axle doesn't have to come from ez loader. Just need to get the measurements right.
$360 complete with hubs and bearings.
And free delivery to Kalispel by Aug 7th.
Many options available.
Shop around and call their customer service people to make sure you get the right/good stuff.
