Re: Trailerless boat....need input
I just went through this, used all the search engines, and I spent about a month (maybe a bit less) looking for used trailers online, then traveling to the few good ones I found. Of the few that I saw in person most were broken, rusted and needed a lot so I passed on them. I put money down on the
only one I found that was worthy. I can't discuss why I don't have that trailer

I ended up being forced to buy new. A great decision as it turns out. Most trailers need work and at some point it's not worth the time/trouble when new comes with a 2 year warranty.
I should mention that I was looking for a larger, HD trailer which limited my choices some. But, before you travel to look at a used trailer ask for good photos of wheels, suspension, brakes, rust spots and other issues. Most sellers are honest and if you ask they'll show you so you know before you drive.
