Any infromation on wood tramsom repair, water line down to bottom planks. I have a 1970 31'Trojan. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The only thing I can tell you here is,.... OK,.. 2 Things I can Tell you Is,.....<br /><br />1),... Grab an Ice Pick(awl),+ Crawl down into the bilges,+ Start Poking at Everywhere that Might Possibly be less than sound wood,.....<br />The Ice Pick won't hurt anything,.. Except the Rotten Wood,......<br />The Ice Pick(awl) is also a Choice Tool for removing the wooden plugs,+ the glue from the screwheads holding the planking on........<br /><br />2),... Do your Best to remove the rotten wood As the pieces they once Were,.... You'll Need the Patterns..............The bottom planks feel, sound, & look good. Rotten lower transom & chine inside bilge.
