Hello,
Has anyone cut down a 20" transom to a 15" transom on a 16' sea nymph (or any other) aluminum boat. I have a new Nissan motor (shorty) and the company sent a tall transom boat. Rather than go through the hassle of sending it back...waiting...I am considering cutting out a wedge of the transom (like it appears on the short transom version of the same boat) and replacing the aluminum cap/rail. This is a sea nymph by Lowe. Any advice, suggestions, pitfalls? Thanks, Rich
