U - G - L - Y Ford Super Duty!

Is it me, or are the new Super Dutys the most horrible looking trucks on the planet?
The grille reminds me of the "family truckster" from the movie "National Lampoon's Family Vacation".

My company is pushing to get me one but I told them I'd rather have an F150 than drive one of those awful looking abortions.

Does anyone make an aftermarket grille that looks better?

I believe you will be able to find them on the internet, I don't know if this link would have them or not. But I was looking at all the options/accessories for my 2006 F150 back in 2006 when I bought it and there were grilles available here on this link if I'm not mistaken.

Yep,the new Chevy front end is butt ugly too.I'm a Chevy guy but i guess the new styles have to grow on me before i get used to them...

I have the previous style F250. I like mine. I like the new one better.

looks like an ugly bull dog. head lights are the eyes upper grill the nose, lower grill the mouth, windshield the the massive head.

I thought the same thing when I first saw pictures of them. Now that I have seen them in person I really like the new style.

Both of my SuperDuty diesels are the old style ('04 F450 and '04 F250) and I like it better than the new style. Arks, more than likely, you just appreciate vehicles with style. Most vehicles have lost it in favor of wind tunnel styling. Have you been watching any of the Barrett-Jackson auction on SPEED? Those vehicles have style!

I have been watching the BJ auctions. Maybe one of five is an interesting car. I get bored with 50s/60s musclecars and homemade musclecars ("customs") one after the other. I have to admit that most of them are clearly better built cars than when they were new. . .if being dreadfully overpowered for their chassis is really better. Being a gearhead, I am much more impressed by innovative engineering than by bling! bling! bling! and "roar, snarl, glitter".

I do like the hot rods that show some originality. That is maybe one in five also. It really confuses me that what, 50-60 years ago, was a search for uniqueness has become slight variations on "me too".

I am waiting to see what that Allison V12 monster, the Deusey, the 300SL gullwing "recreation" and some other really rare cars go for.

Ford has always made a decent truck..... but I would not buy one based on looks..... Who cares if a work truck looks ugly anyway.....
