So just for the fun of it, and it's kinda slow around iboats these days....

If you could have Santa deliver any Starcraft boat, rigged any way you like, money is no object, to your tree this Sunday morning, what would it be? What would it look like? What kinda stuff would you have on it?

I'll start.

26' Starcraft Islander

I'd want it to be an old one that I can rebuild from scratch though!

I'd want a bracket on the back to score all that extra fishing space!

With a pair of these on the back, sweet!

Though my IO blood may have me go with a nice 5.7 Mercruiser which would be really awesome too!

I dunno, just sayin.

Have a fantastic weekend guys!

Merry Christmas

Oh man that's a tough one. I think I would have to have a 22' V5 Supersport with 150 Evinrude etec, 9.9 'rude kicker and a Minn Kota auto pilot on the front. Equipped with a couple downriggers, fish finder, the whole nine yards.

Re: Under the Christmas Tree....

dude! Santa told me I had first dibs on that 26'er (altho he promised me Honda 4 strokes instead of Etecs) and that he was bringing you a nice Sea Scamp with a Neptune Mighty Mite. but he may have lied........

hope everyone has a great Xmas and/or other Personally Relevant Midwinter Holiday. i'm off to spend the holidaze at bro's place in Galveston, 50 yards from the bayou.....Galveston in winter is the quintessential Grey Christmas. but will post pix if i get any redfish.......sis in law said a friend recently got 4 in an hour from pond behind their house

see y'all next week.

Jas, just how big do you think Santa's sack is. LOL All I would want is enough gift cards (make sure to over estimate) to finish up my Nassau. Oh and and a decent 18ft. Holiday for the next project. Twin O/Bs please cause that would be cool.. Thank you Santa.

Re: Under the Christmas Tree....

I have a Holiday 22 -1975 vintage with a 200 Johnson and a 9.9 merc 4stroke kicker two scotty. down riggers and electronics Chart plot and map and seperate f/f Marine radio = C B radio and all the gear a guy could want. Did not even leave my storage area this year. I used a older fiberform in the river and that was all. Thinking real serious about putting this on the market will have to wait till spring too do so. Happy Holiday to all and a great new year.------------------ pugetsound

I want some sort of cuddy, but still able to haul it with my S10... :)

Since the sky is the limit, may as well go big!
How about this ultra rare, only one is existince Gar wood boat and aluminum prototype from the late 30's?
Aluminum hull and mahogany topsides.

Kev, that Gar Wood Tin is built like a battleship. And spectacular! Will she fit down the chimney?

OK guys, it's the 30th. where are all the pics of the sooty Islanders and Etecs?

(the fat guy stiffed me too on boats, but at least stuck a couple of 4# redfish on my line on Xmas afternoon, so we got to have fresh fish for dinner that day. pix once i find camera. i got a taste of y'all's late-season conditions tho....fishing in 40 degrees with blowing rain and 15-20 mph wind. brrr! give me the Sea of Cortez........)
