Update:
Well guess i dont have to worry about him sinking any time soom. THe brand new engine he was told (circa 1973) melted on him this weekend. He told me he painted the lower unit and got paint inside the water intake and thats why the motor melted. At least thats what his "mechanic says" , im using this term loosly. Dont know how true that alittle paint would cause his motor to overheat or his "mechanic" never relpaced the impeller.

just an update for you guys,

later,

Big-E

If you remember this topic i started the other day http://www.iboats.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=012273

i have more info.

The guy who fixed his boat came out to look at it yesterday and stated to him he has nothing to worry about that the fiberglass job he did to seal the crack will hold her just fine. I again told him this was garbage. He said for me to try and move the motor and guess what happend when i did? It cracked again.. lol He just said.. well i need more glass/resin but she'll be going out tomrrow. Ive done all i can with this guy and spoke with his wife and kids but of course they belive daddy who in this cause is being a complete moron. My concious is clear on them now.

just though id share,

Big-E
