Hey fellas, just wanted to share with you my latest experience.

Had some time to kill at lunch today, so I went to the local Walgreens (west side San Antonio, near work) to pick up some over the counter BS that I needed. I was in the store for 5 minutes, came out to find my Ford F150 (w/ alarm) broken into. Looks like robber drove a screwdriver through the key hole and was right in with no alarm sounding.

Items stolen: check book with $490 cash inside,(dont' normally carry this much cash, but I just won a friendly wager on the World Champion San Antonio Spurs), radar detector (on the dash in plain sight, probably the initial temptation), new portable jump starter (never even used it), CD's, not sure what else but that's all that strikes me at the moment. It all happened about 2 hours ago.

I called and cancelled checks, waited for police to do a report, had to request a finger print crew and wait even longer.

On my way out of Walgreens, I noticed a young man who parked on my passenger side "briefly" looking into my passenger window and I wondered what he was up to, come to find out.. he saw what happened but didn't realize what was going on at the moment, he said I just missed them myself.

He saw a young hispanic male in my truck with his car and girl waiting beside it. Couldn't give much of a description, 20-23 yrs old, 6', little facial hair, in a purple 4 door midsize car (make unknown). He couldn't hang around and talk to police as he had no drivers license himself and felt he might get in trouble himself, he did leave me a name and phone number (accurate, I'm not sure). This kinda stuff really chaps me, I'll probably be sick about it for days.

Thanks for listening, if you see the culprit let me know, I have a few more things for him.

If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have none at all.

Good day Gents,

Grandx
