Tried to buy a wakeboard online from the US recently and have it shipped to Canada only to find out that US retailers are no longer able to ship many wakeboard brands to Canada due to supplier restrictions that have been imposed.
Clearly many Canadians have been purchasing wakeboards online from the US since prices are much cheaper and the Canadian dollar is strong. This in turn affects the Canadian retailers which resulted in suppliers putting a stop to it.
If these suppliers would price their products more fairly in Canada we would purchase them in Canada. But when the dollar is par and the same product is a couple hundred cheaper in the US even after shipping what do they expect?
