Re: Want to buy this new Boat BUT something is wrong with the ENGINE
Give or take, anything over 28 is probaby a wider beam which requires a special permit to trailer down the road. Not to mention the vehicle to tow it. If you don't have these two items, many people will moor their boat at a marina. Up here it runs around 10-15 a foot depending on whether its covered or not. Lets just say you get a 26 foot boat, its gonna cost you at least 260 a month to sit it in a slip so you don't have to tow. I kind of agree with a few on here, I know Im a newbie to this forum but have been boating for quite some time and my first boat was a 16 foot quachita and have grown since then. Good Luck but stick to some lakes until you get your sealegs.
