Hey guys i am getting a new merc motor as most people know here.I want to install a fuel/water seperator on the boat.I know most people just use the one side as in the left pic and plug up the other 2 holes on the other side.
I want to know if i can put one hose on one side[enter from tank] and one on the other[exit to engine] as the right pic shows? If i do this the arrows will be facing the same way, like this-> ->,this will be correct right? Also will it be as effective as the other way with the hoses on both sides.I figured it wouldn't matter but i need to know for sure as most of the filters have the enter and exit on the same side.
