Have an Albin 021 which I love.
Have just got the boat so not too familiar with it. Long story short, ran great when it was sunny, as soon as the rains came it became damn near impossible to start.
I pulled the plugs and sure enough water has gotten into the tank. I will have to take the tank out for a proper service and clean in the winter so have bypassed it with an outboard tank. Have drained all the fuel out of the lines/carb, replaced and added a little additive to absorb water. Can almost get it to start but it's still stubborn as hell.
My question is could water be sitting at the bottom of the cylinders? Because when I pull the plugs now, while it's not as bad they are still a little wet and have water on them. If water is in there how can I get it out? Is there an additional product I can pour into the block to ensure all moisture is pushed out?
Thanks in advance!
