Water Leaking from sides of stern drive help

Plug is out and there is no water in the bilge, yet water is leaking around the housing?

If above statement is true then no this isn't normal. Bounce on the drive real hard to see if transom flexes. If it does, then transom is soft

Are you talking about what I have circled if so then yes perfectly normal for water to exit here while water is hooked to the boat ..FC9B098C-6C34-42AC-947A-7C5B0BC8EAA2.jpeg

Yes those are the idle relief ports exhaust and the spent cooling water it contains will come out when running on the muffs. It wont be even side to side in terms of how much water. I think on my 3.0 it mostly came out one side

It's when no water is coming out of that area that you need to worry. Bad impeller

That's an old boat/MC. The transom bolts with zinc caps are a boat sinker. Bolts are usually rotten. You are getting ready to spend some major bucks replacing, since you have to pull engine. However, I suspect water as gotten past bolt and rotted your transom. Sorry...
