I am looking to replace the weather stripping along my 4 panel front windshield of my 250SE. Is this anything specific when one starts searching for this and where to find it. All feedback appreciated as I have noticed different types and I am wondering what exactly replaces the OEM stripping or as close to it as one can come

Hey Cisco I just happen to have the gasket model I think your looking for and the web site as I was going to order a replacement for My SE250 until I sold it, funny they always shrink in there.

Here is the web site and model
Taylor Made Systems - Hardware & Accessories - Screw Cover Gasket
#8349030

Ps they were very helpful even sending me a small sample to confirm. BUT NOT CHEAP.

I was going to pm you as I figured you would know where and what to purchase. Are there any other options before I get knocked off my chair once I go look at the pricing. Yeah it appears they do shrink which I noticed on my boat.

Okay I am a bit daft and not fully understanding what I am looking at in that link, #8349030 is the new replacement to the rubber weather stripping currently in there and the view of it is from the end, so that is the shape that would insert into the rail. is that correct? What am I looking at dropping to go with the stock stuff before i look at alternative options to cut and fit in?

I have fired off an email with a pic of boat and arrow pointing to exactly what I want to replace, Thanks for your assistance

got a quote of $3.51/ft and 25 handling fee plus shipping. What I am trying to confirm is whether #8349030 in the link is a more recent replacement part of the original foam type stripping that is along the bottom of the window

Yes the foam is out rubber is in. They sell it by the foot and just like the foam was sold, cut to length and friction fit in.
I believe there are 2 rubber models to use, one for the front and the other for the sides of the windshield.
As to where to buy I suppose any of their retailers, but when I spoke to them a few yrs. ago I recall they sold replacement parts directly (or maybe my wishful thinking).

All this goes back awhile so I'd confirm everything before ordering, but hey they knew what I needed with boat make and production yr.
and really helpful.

I have to call them and confirm what part number is for the front windshield panels. Once i confirm part number will post number back

Okay, I have sent a pic of the profile of the side window trim and will confirm whether the part##8349030 replaces the front molding as well. I figure ordering 25-26ft will suffice based on measurement.

Confirmed, part##8349030 is the correct fitment it does both the side and front windows, you will need 20ft in total will cost $110 shipped. I measured current material as well as the inner screw gasket rail and had Taylor confirm we have the right part number. I plan to order to replace mine for the $110

Well i received the screw cover gasket. Will try to upload a pic of it. I am trying to determine how it fits in best. Apparently the pn i quoted above does the 4 windows and i ordered 22ft for 112 shipped
