Re: What are these called?

Ok, first off, im really not a beginner. Yes, this is the first boat ive owned, but, Im pretty good when it comes to physics. I have adjusted that tab both ways, but nohing changes. As far as having a limiting pin. Im assuming your talking about on the outdrive correct? If this is the case, then that would not have anything to do with the listing problem
Most beginners adjust the little fin in the wrong direction eric, just be sure you've got your head around it. You should also check to see if you have a trim limiting pin which may restrict the inward travel.

Bond-o, The list only takes place underway actually. Do you think these tabs will at the very least help me out?

Ayuh,... They'll no doubt help with a list while underway,...

But again,.. There's a serious Issue somewhere the needs fixin'...

So you subjest on checking the last 4-6 feet of my hull for straightness first then?

Eric, do you know how to operate those trim tabs, and if you do, do they work.
I have seen people hook the tabs up the way they thought they should be hooked up instead of how they should be hooked up, when that happens they work backwards.
Download this trim tab simulator and see how they are supposed to work. http://bennetttrimtabs.com/simulator.htm

PS: You still need to adjust the drive trim, do you?

Hi Don. Yes I do know how to operate them tabs. I havent installed them as of yet. The pics on this post are not of my boat. I just wanted to know what they were thats all. Im assuming I need to adjust something with outdrive. For some reason the boat wants to veer port while underway. Im gonna do as suggesteed and check the last 4-6 feet of my hull for straightness first though.
