Extraordinarily violent or scary television commercials during a family friendly program...watching American Idol with the kids and suddenly someone is being stalked and shot at in an advertisement. Gee, thanks! I'm sure that's not affecting my 8 and 12 year old kids.

Seriously...if somebody said to me I could spend the rest of my life without ever having to see, hear, or have any interaction with a lawyer ever again, but I'd have to give up my right arm....I'd say call me lefty.

Totally agree!

Even worse is the 1/2 hour stuff they run before a movie, at a movie theater. We were at a PG movie and they were showing trailers for R rated movies,,, R rated trailers. Gee, If I wanted my kids seeing that crap, I would be taking them to R rated movies.

I was fuming about the R rated trailers and venting to my wife about it, when a Kyra Sedgwick TV commercial comes on. OK! that cuts it!!! It's bad enough that they show R rated movie trailers, but C'mon,,, Kyra Sedgwick

Best of luck on your calling as an attorney. Be a qualified, conscientious, thorough barrister and you will have the respect of the community. Be an slip & fall or ambulance chaser and I hope you can't make rent. 90% of the true counselors out there are a blessing to have to the good guy doesn't get screwed. It's the other 10%...

LOL, my wife paid every In-Fisherman subscription notice that came in, knowing that I would want to keep getting it. I saw one of the notices and told her not to pay it... It took 5 years for all the paid subscriptions to finally run out :facepalm:

Thanks fireman. Being an EMT, I've seen the other side... I couldn't bring myself to do that. I just really see myself going into a more... Helpful division of law.

Jos. A Bank commercials here in the Northeast. Buy 1 get 1 free, and buy a 2nd item get 2 more free - runs this crappy commercial on the radio and tv in the morning about 15 times while getting ready for work.
