My '64 Aristo Craft behind my '57 ford f100.

The truck has pwr disc brakes and steering, and a 327 chevy for power.

I get too many looks, especially here in Fla, where everyone and their grandmother has a huge suv/pick-up.

I tow a 16 cobia with my 05 toyota sienna mini-van, and also tow my 15.6 Gheenoe Classic with my 1999 toyota Corolla. Don't laugh, the Corolla is rated to tow 1500 lbs. Of course it's the brakes ya gotta watch, but I do tow safely and frequently check the brakes, oil and tranny.

I have a 2005 Honda Pilot 4 wd, i tow a 2003 bayliner 185 no problem pulling it but could use a little more power for highway towing.

Tundra 6 cyl. It's OK. I have deadheaded empty trailers behing our Honda CRV

AND I 've seen a Honda Gold Wing (M/C) pulling an empty trailer down the Interstate. (I like M/C's and still would not try that trick.)

Right before Christmas I hit a patch of black ice and rolled my Trailblazer that I'd been using to tow with, old pics with the boat are up thread on page 1.

For a replacement we decided to go big and cheap.
We just picked up a 1994 Ford F250 SuperCab Longbed 2WD with the big block 460.
A couple of rust spots and she could use new tires, but she'll tow 10k lbs and was only $2500.
Shouldn't have any problem towing my Wellcraft.

Death of the TB. We both walked away uninjured. (Wear your seatbelts!)

My boat and tow vehicle are listed in my signature. The 2006 Explorer V-8 hardly knows the boat is back there.

Fortunately it was only over onto the roof.
We hit the ice on a left hand curve, spun around almost 180? and hit the ditch going sideways at probably 50mph. Lucky for us when we went over we hit the far side of the ditch and ended up sliding up the embankment on the roof instead of going end over end.

I tow my 21Ft Larson LXI 208 witha 2006 Ford Expedition, 5.4 V8. While you know it's back there It handles it very well.

I tow my 18 ft Blue Water with my '04 F-150 w the 4.6L V8. I tow my Waverunner with my 1996 Toyota Rav-4...the little Rav that could!

We use our 1 owner 1995 F150 4X4 w/ 43xxx original miles to tow the 1988 Nordic Crestliner Crusader @ 4600#'s. Do they match? I'm color blind It does a pretty good job but feel a 3/4 ton Truck or SUV would be better.

Was 08 dodge 2500 cummins, now 1500 dodge ram hemi, never had a tranny problem yet either, but never owned one for more than 2 or three years,, Had to trade in when I retired, Part of retirement package, havent done to much towing with Hemi, but what i did, seemed good to go , Tim
