Hi Guys,

I am chasing a problem with the above motor, last time out it was starving for fuel. Pumped the bulb and she came good, so after much reserch here I am pretty sure it's the fuel pump. Whilst lurking around the motor I found this connector undone, any ideas on what it does? Common sense tells me to plug it back in, as the VRO is no longer I am wondering if it might have something to do with that?

Thanks In Advance
Trelos

What color are the wires that go into that plug. Did you check the wiring diagrams listed at the top of this first webpage?

That is the three wire VRO connector. It doesn't affect the operation of the pump, it just detects and sounds a warning horn if no oil condition occurs.

Someone has disabled the VRO oiling, and you are mixing 50:1 now, correct?

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the answer that's gold. Yes I am pre mixing and have been since I bought the boat. Appreciate your help once again.

Cheers
