What does this switch do.

Being a relative novice when it comes to boat engines.On my 4winns I have a toggle switch on the dash that has the letters ACC under it.Anyone know what it does?:confused:

It stands for ACCESSORY and is a spare switch you can use.

ACC is accessory, you may or may not have anything hooked up to it. I had two extra switches on my dash.

Well I never. Thanks guys really appreciate that. Maybe you could help me out with this one.Also on the dash is a switch which is basically a spring loaded push button set up.I thought it may have been a kill switch but when I looked underneath at the wiring its not connected to anything.Any ideas.:confused:

Unfortunately not.The horn is on a separate switch.

If its a kill switch, it should be more than just a button, something has to keep the button down. Does it have a groove in it or something similar?

The P/O could have had anything hooked up to it. I wouldn't worry about it.

What year and model do you have? Look at what accessories were available that you don't have. It's probibly for that.
