Re: What does your username stand for?

About 5 yrs ago, I broke 3 fishing rods in 2 days wading an easy river with a friend. He changed my contact name in his phone to Chief Brokenrod after the third time, and it stuck.

Just an attempt at self-deprecating humor.....used it for years on web stuff.

ARC = Abbey Road Company (some who are into Japanese cars will recognize this), which is highly sought-after for producing performance and racing parts for Japanese vehicles, which I am a huge fan of.
240 = I own a 92' Nissan 240SX, my pride and joy on dry land lol :p.
Thought slapping the 2 together made a decent forum name, so voila...ARC240! I use it on every forum I'm on.

Mac is my horse. My name is Ed. Since I feed him, etc, I figure I'm his friend.

That's great!! The wife and I got a good laugh out of that.

Mine is pretty self explanatary. The 431 doesn't mean a thing. I guess I may have to change it. I just retired after 23+ years (at 44 years old!!)

It's to honor my late father. "We're goin' lite this morning" was a common comment from him as we got our stuff together to go duck hunting.

Re: What does your username stand for?

My username 'Big Prairie' is in honour of the 7 generations of my family that went before me here in Canada all of which were farmers except my father who was a carpenter. :)
I distinctly remember my Grandfather making reference to the beauty of the Canadian Prairies and their size which I still appreciate despite the fact I do not get a chance to get out to the family farm in Drumheller as much as I would like.:)

It's where I live...Eastern Ontario. I wanted 1000 islands, but it must have been already taken.

Mine is for my old dalmation that died in 1998, he was my best friend for many years. I will always remember him this way.

Well, mine is pretty easy. I was a boy scout growing up, and I got hooked. I still volunteer when I can and work the waterfront at a summercamp for them (their boats, their gas, my fun :D ).

I think the second half is pretty self-explanatory.

Lipp has been my nickname since I was born albeit I was Lil Lipp when I was younger now I'm Lipp, CJ7 was because I was into another type of Money Pit called a Jeep CJ7 now I am into the much more refined money pit called a 2000 248 BR Crownline called "Wet Lipps" Since its our Boat (the families), it just kinda made sense and throws a bit of innuendo in there!!

Mine is pretty straigh forward, I have been involved in law enforcement for approximatley the past six years. With the attention they get on the big roads they now use back roads instead of the interstate in order to get their "product" to the small towns. I like to find them and give them a case of the blues.

Re: What does your username stand for?

Funny...there is several posters here that their username explanation is one of their only two or three posts. I saw two where their post here is their first and only post. (page 2 and 5):D

(and sad that I went through all 19 pages to bring that bit of trivia to you)
