Speaking of ADD, is there a reason that you post in color? I don't think I've seen that asked. Is it an Alabama thing? Seems relevant to an explanation of your user name.

I went through most of an Army career with soldiers, (and many senior officers), unable to pronounce my last name. Dmn publik edumancashun!:facepalm:

My user name is a modified version of the name I answered to in the army. Mr. Ninja was just so much easier when dealing with 4000 troops.

Funny, I've been trying to get the wife to embrace the Ninja moniker in the classroom. She said her teaching/discipline style didn't support it. Well, I guess it does since, unprompted, one of her kids called her Mrs. Ninja today. You go girl!

Nope, the color is just for s**ts and giggles

Royal is my last name, and 14 was my VFD number. Years ago when I signed up on fleabay, royal14 was taken, so I threw in the dubble-ought. Just transfered it to here, rather than trying to come up with something smart or original.

By that time we bought a boat from Patsy's Bay Marina.

We dragged it home as we were sitting on the lake Denise said ...

Isn't Summer Fun. so I took this name.

Wanted "MAXXFJ" but that was taken, had to go with maxxie because it was all that was aval. MAXXFJ stands for my Truck: 2007 FJ Cruiser, built up as much as I could afford: Lift, 285-70/17 BFG KM2's. This truck is unstopable, comes with a locker in the rear & I go off roading quite often, well not so much since I got the boat, @ off road parks in my area. When I got the boat all the free time is either on the water or working to make the boat as good as I can. Love my FJ & hope I never have to get rid of it, it's just cool as my boat- a 1985 Bayliner Capri Bowrider. I love the boat, I know many think Bayliners are crap but I love my boat. So that's what's behind my screen name, everywhere else on the net it's MAXXFJ

carholme as I lived in the UK for several years in the '70s at 15 Carholme Road, London, SE23. From there, I worked for for several years on helicopters in the Middle East, Far East and Africa.

When I was working in San Diego ( way back when ) there was one guy on Shelter Island that wore a red jacket that said " Yacht Dr ". Anyone else from any other marina that had a problem with a repair would seek out this person for his advice. This red jacket was passed on from person to person..when I left the jacket was Given to me by the Yacht Dr ( not given because the jacket cant leave the Island .. but at heart Given to me ).

I was at that point a Yacht Dr .
