Treasures
Hummm.... I guess for all the times out in my(oops our) boat I have truly TREASURED.
Those are the Gems of my life. ;)
Also named my photography business VivedTreasures Photography and it is a combo of my name and my husbands name. A play on words.
I capture those treasures.

Badly Bent or Broke? I started using this as a username in a Fantasy NASCAR league I belong to because it usually describes at least on of the cars on my fantasy team every week. The name comes from my college days when I would occasionally skip classes and go to the horse races. For some reason I remember this one horse's unique name, Badlybentorbroke. For some reason that name has stuck in my memory down through the years as I have experienced things that were either badly bent or broke. After reading the forums at iboats.com I see that the name can easily apply to boating so I adopted it as my username here also.

Re: What does your username stand for?

When I was about 15, I was trying to sign up for an AOL instant messenger account, and everything I picked was already taken. After about the 10th attempt, I heard my little siblings watching a Buggs Bunny movie with Yosemite Sam. I heard him say "You're a ijit", so I tried that, and it worked.

Had it ever since.

Re: What does your username stand for?

Son of a career naval officer who was a U. S. Naval Academy graduate (Class of '35). He served for 29 years before retiring in June, 1964.

A highlight was when he was Chief of Staff, United States 7th Fleet, Yokosuka, Japan. He was second in command of the entire fleet. I was 12-13 years old at the time.

Dad passed away a year ago (8 July 2007) at the age of 92. It was my honor to be holding his hand as he slipped away.

I am very proud of my father, and I miss him terribly.

5150 is a reference to Van-Halen, also the California code for the criminally insane ( I'm not, I don't think....) and the ABF is my initials.

Interesting thread.
