In theory, (ignoring the fact that it will mix when sloshed) water will accumulate in the bottom of your tank, decreasing the fuel capacity. At some point you will use up your available fuel and have nothing but water in your tank and engine. Big problem.
Getting water out and keeping it out is a much better strategy.
Then you hook up a sink & call it a luxury item![]()
