Really people, we are the good guys, these people that we are at war with need no provcation what so ever to want to kill us. It is about time we had a President with enough stones to stand up and call them what they are, the axis of eviel. Guys, it doesn't matter how much money we give them or how nice we talk to them they want us dead, all of us. Believe this, we are hated because of our success just like I bet everyone of us has somebody that is jealous because of our personal successes. Multiply that by 300 million and that is why they hate us. I know I'm way off topic, sorry.

You have shone numerous times on this thread to be a narrow minded unthinking bully with your title as moderator and have called others names with your personal attacks (including this thread while hiding behind your moniker.

Republicans, conservatives, liberals, Demos, Liberations are not dummies as you so quickly slur, but rather those who are so ignorant they see only one side of the issue are the dummies.

You are right as I probably should not get into the name calling, my Dad always told me never to lower myself that way over some old ignorant lonely person whose only power on earth is a self inflicted power of insignificant value in the real world.

But no we are not on the same side, as I want to see an America for my grandchildren with liberties, freedom and possiblities of advancement not a society bound country similar to what is seen throughout Europe. I believe in power of the people not in corporate America.

Furthermore Pointer, if these people are all as you have described, why are we even in Iraq dying for their freedom? Sounds like a lost cause listening to you. When you say "they" you are trying to make it sound as though it is all. You know that is far from the truth just as you know all US soldiers are not bad.

Look what these US soldiers did. Many Muslims probably think we are all barbaric heathens over here in the US. Don't tell me they are not fueled by words of W and the actions of a few bad Americans fighting for him.

Put us in the position of Iraq. What would we think of our "protectors" killing and raping young US girls and their fathers in the name of war?

Would someone please show me where I called anyone a name?

I surely attacked what people said, and even commented on what it sounded like, but I don't find anywhere I said, "You are. . . . ." or "you. . . .".

The above bashes are direct attacks on me, a person, not my ideas or what it seemed like.

Attacking ideas or opinions is one thing. . .I do that, and it is a fair debate tactic. . .attacking a person is something entirely different, and it is not allowed here.

Also, for what it's worth, to tell someone that what they said makes them look dumber than they are is different than saying it makes them look less smart than they are, because it implies they are dumb to begin with.
