I planned on getting a dupe of what I'm taking off. I assume it's marine?? Look at the pic. although the back was open which I assume marine would be closed .CharlieReplace with a marine-rated circuit breaker. They should last longer in the marine environment and should be spark protected.
The pic in post 2 is a marine rated breaker and is used by VP, Merc and others. Can find them in a lot of placesI planned on getting a dupe of what I'm taking off. I assume it's marine?? Look at the pic. although the back was open which I assume marine would be closed .Charlie
Thanks but I dont see any labeling on either terminal.Which is which? I believe one cable comes from the battery switch based on my pic.One terminal is labeled line, one is labeled load.
I will look again. I bought what was called a pretty generic 40 amp at an RV and marine center. It has an arm and a small reset button next to the arm. Terminals look to be brass( gold) with rubber caps for the ends of the terminals. The cable coming from your battery switch is the line. The other goes to the load. What brand of circuit breaker did you buy?
The carlings and sea choice have "In" and "load" cast into the housing in really small letters
