The reason I ask is that I am considering adding an additional trim/tilt switch, and I hope that this connector is meant for that. I used to have a two-stroke Mercury 60 tiller with a remote tilt switch, and the switch is still there. Muscle memory has me using the switch even though it is no longer connected to the new four-stroke, so I'd be thrilled if it would be a simple hook-up to get the switch operational. The wire colors from the switch that I had connected to the two-stroke are light blue, light green, and orange just like this connector (no white to the switch, just blue green orange to the switch).
